In a world where so much is determined by where you come from, who you know, and the resources you have, I find myself less impressed by traditional achievements. For me, true inspiration comes from people who dedicate their time, energy, resources, and money to genuinely helping others—without seeking recognition or rewards. While there’s nothing wrong with receiving an award if others choose to give it, the motivation behind the act matters more to me than any recognition that follows.
Maybe it’s a reflection of my experiences or a touch of jadedness, but I just don’t find typical measures of success as meaningful. Sometimes, I wonder if it’s just part of how I see things or something deeper like a hint of disillusionment. Does anyone else feel this way?
