Anyone else feel like the phrase, “jack of all trades, but master of none”?

For context, 25M. My whole life since I was really young, I always wanted to be talented, or skilled in things I enjoyed. I loved to learn new things especially artistically. However now that I’m older, looking back, while I know how to do many things, I’ve never been truly exceptional at any of them, at the most, intermediate level in all. It’s a dilemma I’ve wondered for some time and curious about other people’s point of views. Some of the things that I consider myself able to do confidently, but not exceptionally are:

  • drawing
  • origami
  • working on cars
  • playing music (guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, singing)
  • writing
  • driving for sport (I.e. around an amateur race track)
  • cooking (was a chef for a short while)
  • soccer
  • basketball
  • skateboarding
  • snowboarding
