Why do people love me?

4 hours ago 3

This title sounds so egotistical and delusional, but let me explain. Everyone from my perspective seems to appreciate Me and care for me, even if I barely know them. All my friends love me, coworkers, family, even complete randoms. I’m always invited to parties, people love to have me. My workplaces and customers always loved seeing me etc. personally, I don’t think I do anything. I’m a very awkward and average guy, who I feel has more flaws than flexes, and I don’t see how people can love me especially when I can’t love myself. I’m only writing this today, because when I was out with friends, we all went and got ice cream from a van. While all my friends got normal sized ice creams, the man kept going on mine and told me “there have a bonus”. Never met this man, only exchanged a ‘hi how are you, can I get this’, why did he feel so obliged to give me more. It seemed like a token of care. But why are you giving some 18 year old guy extra ice cream? I’m not a cute innocent child? This is seriously what I don’t get, people go that extra mile for me? For what? Why? Maybe I’m just a joyous person and find happiness in tiny things like extra ice cream and that makes me feel validated and happy. But I have so many more experiences than just extra ice cream. I don’t know if it’s how I look either? Do I have this respectable demeanour? Also other people constantly comment on how ‘no one hates me’ and how ‘everyone loves me’. I just wanna know what and why from others perspectives. Also fyi not complaining about this, I feel so happy and loved, and it doesn’t make me feel egotistical and rude, instead it makes me feel like being nice back to people.
