Why do I fall for guys who I’ll never see again?

First was a guy from college who after having one conversation with, I completely fell for him, but then didn't see him again after that.

Second guy was from work, he is no longer working here and he was the only reason I liked going to work. Don't have his contact details/he's not on social media, so I'll never see him again either.

Is it just my bad luck?
