It kind of breaks my heart that people are so cold nowadays. You meet a person at a bar whom you share interests with, they ghost you. You try to make friends via the internet, they barely put effort into their messages. You try to talk someone up at a store, they either frown or say something to quickly end the conversation. Why are people so hesitant to make new connections nowadays? Have people always been this antisocial, or is this a new trend that will only get worse?
