What’s the one life lesson you learned too late?

I feel like life teaches us things at its own pace, and sometimes we don’t realize the most important lessons until it’s too late.

For me, it was understanding that "peace is more valuable than being right." I used to argue a lot just to prove my point, but over time, I realized that protecting my peace and relationships mattered way more.
