What has being good, done for you?

I saw a post about how bad people get ahead in life. And I honestly could not agree. The bad people in my life are all sorts of mentally messed up. I myself tried to remain good, and maybe I'm a rare case but it's gotten me so much in life. Maybe not the most money. But considering how much I have gained from just trying to be the best I can for everyone, I wouldn't have made any other choice. Tell me about what has doing good done for you. Hopefully in a positive way.
