Patience

Ive been waiting so long. For reasons I won't get into, I could not contact my infant daughter. 10 years ago I had to bounce. Last night her grandmother messaged me and I gave her my number. We texted all night. She's not ready for a call but just talking to her at all was enough to make my heart sing. I pretty much thought this may never happen. Had given up hope that I'd ever hear from her with the way her mother is. Im not exactly what you call religious, but I'm thanking somebody for this one. It's pretty amazing. She even said she understands why my hands were tied. Feeling blessed.
