(New user) Is it normal for men to hang with their guy friends over 12 hours a day ?

My significant other and I work overnight and our shifts are to the point where we are only at the house together while we are asleep in the mornings but by the time I wake up he’s already gone for work. The only off day we share together is Saturday and church on Sunday mornings before I work if he goes. Is it normal for him on Saturday and sundays to wake up at around 11am and go drink and watch football or just hangout drinking and not come home until 1am and drives home drunk each night . He answers and texts me when he’s out but when I can tell he’s been drinking to much he says he’s okay but the next day speaks about how he shouldn’t have drove the night before . If he doesn’t go out to drink on those Saturday’s or Sundays he plays the game from like 5am until the beers put him to sleep or until like late evening ? If I ask to do something he always says one more game and it ends up being hours but if the guys call he gets dressed and goes to hang with them. Am I overreacting, or is this weird behavior?
