Is saving yourself for marriage worth it? Why or why not?

I’m 18F and am saving myself for marriage. I guess I’m questioning it because it seems like most people don’t do that and a lot of people say it’s better not to. I’m not dating anyone rn, but when I get in a relationship with a guy would it actually be better to have sex while we’re in a relationship even though we’re not married? How do guys feel about a girl who's never had sex before and is saving herself for marriage?
