My brother (24), who is living in DC, has a BMW M3 that he’s been working on. Supposedly just because he likes doing it, which I (27) would believe if he didn’t have a “Mr Popular” rep. And he just recently had a date with a Brazilian woman, supposedly. She was saying she liked the “bum warmers” in his car, and later he told me and my other brother that story. He’s always been Mr Popular, but I feel like he’s using his car to his advantage and make himself look more attractive/popular than he is. For reference, we’re not from anywhere near DC. I know this sounds immature, but hear me out. He also says that he makes a lot more than the does. One of my cousins makes a lot more than him, but they don’t lie about it.
I was hanging out with a friend earlier, and I told them this. I’m very knowledgeable on history and stuff like that, so I instantly went to Socrates and Aristotle. (I’m not very good at acknowledging possible emotions like jealousy. I’m also autistic.) I then went on a tangent about logic, reasoning skills, and philosophy for like 10 minutes. Anyway, they said I might just be jealous because he has an M3, a hot date, etc. For reference, he had a Civic before his M3, so… Jealousy or “smarts/logic”? I’ve never been on a date, but I’m autistic and have social anxiety, so it’s hard for me to get a date. Even if I am smart, there’s a difference between being smart and being “snarky smart” if that makes sense, and unfortunately, I’m snarky smart.
