Dem here, obviously very much dislike Trump and just about everything he stands for. However, I've read this over a few times, and it doesn't really look like Trump revoking this executive order will actually change anything about prescription drug prices or the cost of insulin that people are upset about. Those things are just mentioned in passing as things that Biden did in other orders and laws.
It really seems like the order just tasked a random committee to do additional research for medical technology and treatments, to be delivered in a report not even actioned. I'm not understanding the serious backlash for this one, but obviously not a legal expert so willing to be proven wrong.
Mainly posting in a magaville sub because I can't seem to get the word out about this in the typical dem subreddits without it being drowned by another post.
