Like people say high school sports don’t matter much when they are so selective. And before people scream about how school sports serve as a filter for professional sports, most sports like volleyball or lacrosse have no path for professional athletes (and the few that exists pays poorly). I don’t get why volleyball teams or lacrosse teams have to brag about only taking 5% of kids in tryouts when those sports don’t matter in the long run. It is frustrating
