Boyfriend told me he was mostly looking forward for s3x when we hung out this one day how do I react

There’s a difference between looking forward to it and mostly looking forward to it you would think because you live ur partner u think spending time with them would be ideal but not in this case he got upset because I turned down him and he asked me if I could “do anything else” I said no and he got frustrated and upset not lashing out on me but trying to make a argument I asked him if he was okay and he said yes but not in any way did he look okay so I said “clearly not, what’s wrong did you only want to meet for that” and he said no but kept going sounding more frustrated and he said he has to go soon so I just told him he should go now and I left and went home ( we weren’t far from my house at all ) he came to my house gave some stuff back to me and apologized and told me he was mostly looking forward to that but I’m sorry how I reacted and it was whatever i told him “it’s not whatever tho” he apologized for how he reacted but now I’m stuck with thinking if I turn him down again he will react the same will he find it in someone else when I’m not available does he really love me for me what am I doing I’ve decided to just not talk to him for a good day have a day to think for myself and how I should react.
