Why is Meditations, by Marcus Aurelius, having such a momentum lately?

3 hours ago 1

I love Mediations by Marcus Aurelius. It's a great philosophical essay and I commend everyone who has read it. But I am having a hard time understanding its sudden popularity among a specific audience. I'm not sure how to define this audience, but it's probably mostly men, the type that listen to Joe Rogan and Lex Friedman, and only read non-fiction. What is happening?
