Why did my best friend just randomly push me away?

For context I don’t know what happened, I just know a series of events that led up to this that could have caused this I’m just shook.

One of my closest buddies someone who I consider family just dipped on me. I believe he might have just came out of the closet based on some of the things he said to me. Like I would ask him what he wants for Christmas and his response was “you” I was just like wtf. He would always say things like that and he wouldn’t be joking, he sent me a few random dick picks. I told him to stop then he did it again so I just deleted my snap.

I have a few buddies that I only talk to on Snapchat so I downloaded it again and noticed he was gray on there meaning I have been removed

I’m not gay, I have a girlfriend, he knows this

We would play the game together hang out and things would be fine, but today I said happy birthday and no response… I noticed he deleted my snap,ig, and Facebook out of the blue…

Why would someone just do this? Should I just let it be what it is?
