So as the title says, why are young women (ages 18-30) so heartless and cold nowadays? Like no matter if I trying chatting with a girl online or in-person, they always give off this "I am holier than thou" complex, and if they're not receiving cash or help with their homework, they take forever to respond. Now to back up my claims, I've used various sites to chat with women, predominantly language-learning sites or apps specifically catered to making friendships (Interpals, MyLanguageExchange, Bumble, meetup apps). In the beginning, it all seems good, until you notice that girls will quickly block you on a whim, or put in the bare minumum of effort to keep a conversation going. Then, in-person encounters aren't any better, because I've helped girls with their English, gone to do groceries with them, and went out of my way to phone them instead of just sending a simple text message, and all I got every single time was either being ghosted, or yelled at. I didn't even receive a simple "Thank you". It's really tiring doing the process over and over again if you keep on giving, and they just keep on taking. Another unpleasant experience was when I was walking down the street, minding my own business, and then a group of teenage girls knocks my cap off and laughs at me, calling me "weirdo". I was dressed in normal casual attire, and wasn't even looking at them, and they treat me like this? This doesn't sound like equality in any sense of the term, and yet it's still cool to talk about how men have it better than women? Anyhow, after saying all that, you might ask me, "So what's one thing you wish you could expect from young women?", to which I reply, "Just being able to have a normal, respectful friendship based on shared interests or shared ways of thinking". Is that really too much to ask for from the opposite sex? Should I just leave them be and hang out with the homies instead?
