I’ve noticed when I make general discussion posts about life and the analysis of life (perhaps philosophical in nature or just critical of current systems), I get very nasty responses. Sometimes the responses are the same. It’s so bizarre that I think it might be bots. I find it so weird to go into a post an respond negatively in a discussion you are not part of - could they have mental illness? Anyone else having this issue? Responses include:
-“You’re an incel loser” (not really possible - I’m older and have a partner)
-“Grow up! You’ll understand when you grow up!” (I am a fully formed adult with a consulting business - could this be boomer rage?)
-Take your meds and get help! (This one is constant. I am quite mentally healthy, I just enjoy philosophical discussions)
So, it could be bots, astroturfing or just general severe unhappiness amongst the populous and they’re taking it out in random online spaces? Very interesting and bizarre…
