Who turned off the pyramids?

Let’s take for granted that the pyramids produced some form of energy. There are a lot of them all over the world. Maybe they used to work in unison and maybe not, but they used to produce, or transfer, or do something with energy on a universal level. Who turned them off and when did that happen? What do we know or can we figure it out?
