Where can I get a nice suit that won't break the bank.

Looking for a suit that I'm going to wear for a formal gathering. Looking to buy instead of a rental. I think I'm at an age where having some nice suits to choose from for formal events would be beneficial. Even if the place doesn't have full suits, but just jackets or things like that would work. I already checked Flanigans and they don't have much and I'd rather do a suit store instead of like tjmaxx or Burlington. I want it tailored. Any leads would help.
