I’ve been thinking a lot about the lessons we learn throughout life, and how some of them could’ve made a big difference if we had understood them sooner. For me, I wish I had realized earlier how important it is to prioritize my mental health and set boundaries. I used to push myself way too hard, trying to please everyone, and it took a toll on my well-being.
Once I started learning to say no, focus on self-care, and ask for help when needed, my perspective shifted. Life became a lot less overwhelming, and I started feeling more in control.
What’s a lesson you wish you’d learned earlier in life? How did it change the way you approach things now?
