What do you believe about the soul?

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the concept of the soul. It's something that's been pondered by philosophers, theologians, and everyday people for centuries, and there are so many different perspectives. It makes me wonder what everyone here believes.

Do you think we have a soul? If so, what does that mean to you? Is it something separate from our physical bodies? Does it continue on after death? Is it connected to some kind of universal consciousness? Or is it something else entirely?
