It’s funny how much of “finding yourself” in adulthood is actually about getting back to who you were and what you loved as a child. We spend so much time trying to figure out who we are, looking for answers in books, workshops, and self-help podcasts, when the truth is—we knew who we were all along.
As kids, we were naturally drawn to the things that lit us up, the passions that came without judgment. Somewhere along the way, we lose touch with that pure sense of self. But as we grow older, if we stop long enough to listen, we often realize that the things we once loved are the very things that bring us back to who we truly are.
Growth is about shedding the layers of who you thought you should be and returning to that childlike wonder, creativity, and love for life.
What did you love to do when you were little? What made your heart race with excitement?
