USAID: the process is broken on purpose

Many people will complain about Trump, Musk and DOGE and the way they're investigating USAID. Saying things like "if they really wanted to cut waste they would do it the right way!"

But what if I told you that someone else had already tried that and that they had been stonewalled. And that once they finally got access to the records their team were not even allowed to take notes.

That's exactly what happened when a representative from my state, Joni Ernst tried to investigate USAID on behalf of her constituents.

There is nothing sacred about bureaucratic processes. It might as well be a ceremonial rain dance because it's ineffective and pointless.
