The tech sector has seen massive layoffs. Due to long working hours and often being required to work nights and weekend despite no additional pay many tech workers on the cusp of unionization.
The H1B visas will be increased under Trump and are currently being pushed by Elon. They say American's don't have the skills to do the job which is insulting and a complete lie. The reason Elon wants more H1B workers is you can increase the supply of labor and ultimately pay them less. It also makes it harder to unionize.
Trump is a traitor, not that I ever thought otherwise but I hope many Trump voters now see this. He has sold out American workers for cheap, easily exploitable overseas labor.
