Delma McEvoy, the man’s former wife, previously told the Houston Landing that McEvoy had borrowed his roommate’s SUV to go to the nearby Walmart to buy some new shoes As of Jan 30th, 2025 the investigation was wrapped up, and was ruled a suicide.It's nearly impossible to find anything about this man. ●Officers in this same county, Harris county committed suicide within weeks of each other. *Kohler was reported missing two weeks ago and her body was discovered on March 13th, 2025 *Maria Vasquez, who left the department in December, was found March 16th 2025 also died by suicide *William Bozeman, was found dead Feb.1st 2025 under similar circumstances. *Deputy Long Nguyen,also took his own life on February 6th, 2025 At the same time this messy lawsuit is happening ●Transfer Energy, the company that owns the pipeline, filed a defamatory lawsuit Against Greenpeace in 2017. As of March 19th 2025 the jury found the environmental group Greenpeace liable for more than $660 million in defamation, disruption and property damage for for the 2016 to 2017 Standing Rock protests. "A Houston Landing investigation published in December found there have been at least 36 reported incidents of cars, trucks and other vehicles crashing into above-ground hazardous liquid and gas transmission pipelines across the country since 2019. Twelve of those pipeline crashes occurred in Texas.
