23 M here. A few hours ago I was just chilling in my bed when suddenly I heard a decade old song playing outside at a party nearby. Sent a chill of nostalgia down my spine. Whenever this song plays, I get reminded of how much time has passed since this was the no. 1 party song of the early 2010s. It also reminds me that I’m getting older everyday. At a very fast rate.
Need advise from the older peeps out there. How do y’all deal with such overwhelming nostalgia? How do I deal with this without feeling emotional about the past being gone forever?
