Prediction: The USAID scandal is going to hit Reddit soon, and hit it hard

Long known as a CIA cut-out, USAID has now been exposed for funding "anti-misinformation" (censorship) activities and online influence operations through NGOs. (See Mike Benz for much more.)

We also know that other parts of the federal government (Pentagon, State, DHS, etc.) were secretly working with social media companies (including Reddit) to suppress certain topics (COVID skepticism, Hunter's laptop, 2020 election fraud, etc.) and promote others (Ukraine, LGBT, etc.). The Twitter Files mentioned Reddit, but I think a lot more will come out soon.

Musk and Trump have said they want to end the censorship, and they can look at all federal payments, official communications, employment records, etc. Soon, we may have answers to questions like these:

• How much federal money went to Reddit for some combination of influencers, mods, bots, and/or admins?
• How much of Reddit "content moderation" is arranged in secret cooperation with the feds?
• How much of general Reddit "popular opinion" is truly organic, and how much is a federally-funded persuasion op?

USAID will unravel many things. Get ready for a Happening.
