Pokemon Go using player data to build large scale 3d mapping

Pokemon Go has been banned in china and numerous other countries due to fear of privacy and intelligence. It now appears those countries may have been right to do so. Niantic Labs is now confirming that Pokemon Go user data is being used to build a Large scale global 3d map like no other. From what I gathered after watching Lunduke’s youtube video, the CIA and other government acencys have invested their resources into Niantic Labs (I personally do not know how true this is). What is true is that Niantic Labs is now bragging about this newly developed technology that they gathered from Pokemon Go data, which they own.
