Pink Floyd Echoes & 2001 A Space Odyssey sync

I just watched this sync for the first time and I am blown away! its insane how echoes and the movie line up, where even the lyrics of the song are matching up to 2001. Its adds another layer to an already dense film. Now was it intentionally done? No idea, but apparently Roger Waters of Pink Floyd was a fan and wanted to work with Kubrick. Echoes came out in 71, and 2001 in 68 so close to one another. Whether it was intentionally done or not it still is an amazing sync.
