Anyone else noticing this trend of films pushing old-age parenthood? People in their late 40s celebrating pregnancy. Even beyond that age if you actually look at the age of the actors playing the roles. And by the way they also look their real age on film.

Actors above 50 doing the proud new parent thing. This is so obviously fake.

Here's the conspiracy THEORY: number one, anyone with a pulse knows why our population regeneration rate is declining massively. Cost of living, people putting it off because of the aforementioned reason. And much more.

They are pushing middle-aged parenthood because those are the people who are financially secure AND can statistically still produce healthy offspring. They feel they are in a safe place to rear children yet they innately know that they are not biologically in the right time frame.
