My year was great but I'm still stuck

Hello I'm a 21 m so far this year has been pretty good it's. My first year dating for once I joined and electrical union as a green pre-apprentice been laid off since may I've been working in factories since. I'm planning on going back to school next year but idk at this point I feel like I'm starting all over again that and my parents what me to leave the union because "there taking my money."
