Okay, so I don’t even know how to explain this without sounding insane. But here we go.
Last night, I was scrolling through my phone and noticed a random voice memo saved in my files. I don’t remember recording anything, and I definitely didn’t leave my phone on by accident. Curious, I played it.
It’s a full-blown conversation between me and my boyfriend. Except… we never had it.
In the recording, “I” am talking about how I want to quit my job and move to another state—something I’ve never even considered. “He” responds like it’s something we’ve been planning for months. The weirdest part? The voices sound exactly like us. Same tone, same way of speaking. Even little inside jokes we use. But the conversation is completely unfamiliar to me.
I called my boyfriend and asked if he remembered talking about any of this. He said no. He also checked his phone, and there’s no call or message history that would explain it.
I have no idea where this recording came from. My phone was with me all day. No one else could have touched it. No apps were running that could have picked this up.
WTF is happening? Has anyone else experienced something like this?
