My local small-town media recently posted false news about a Trump protest that didn't happen.

As we should all know by now, all local media is owned by corporations. That being said, allow me to move on.

It came up in my Google news feed that there were hundreds of people protesting against Trump's policies. And I'm thinking wow, for the size of my area that's actually pretty massive. "I could only imagine what's going on in big cities."

Big nope.

It was a nurses union strike. And actually when I clicked the link the headline changed. They had already edited it. They were trying to make people think that all these people were protesting against Trump's policies. The headline in the Google feed was "hundreds protest against Trump's policies."

The actors in control of mainstream media have realized that people don't listen to mainstream media anymore. The conspiracy here is that their new angle is to get to people through their local news channels now.

They failed to control the election and now they're trying to create an uprising.
