Medical Investigation makes a doctor's life easier!

Unlike old days, a clinical diagnosis (diagnosis based on history and physical examination) can be supported by an appropriate investigation in modern medical field. Or, sometimes alternate diagnosis may come into light.

Recently, for one of my patients, my initial diagnosis of a renal stone turned into a urinary infection case after getting the urine test result. Later, I came to know that he had a recent history of sexual exposure!
