I am M (24), working in a support role in TCS. It's been two years, but my life seems stagnant. I want to switch to a developer-based role and later switch companies for a better job, but I am not getting released from my project.
This year anyhow I wanted to change my position. However, since I am not getting released and I don't want to affect relations with management, I am not initiating any arguments.
Now I had two choices, first to pursue higher education and do an MBA. I gave CAT this year but it did not go as expected, hence I am skeptical about the results.
My second choice is switching the company, but I don't want to continue with the support role, if I switch within the same role, I may never be able to change roles.
The dilemma is affecting me, and the monotonicity in TCS is degrading me mentally.
Your suggestions and help are most welcome.
