I found her lack of a "New York" accent odd, especially when contrasted with the 2 officers who speak after her in the video linked. (The subject of the video is irrelevant to the post, I linked it so those curious can see what I mean by the lack of accent)

Commisioner Tisch was appointed this November. Prior to her appointment as NYPD commissioner she was commissioner of NY Sanitation Dept 2022-24.

Before that commissioner of NY Dept of Telecommunications and IT 2019-22.

Before that deputy commissioner of NYPD's IT and Telecommunications. 2014-2019

She started with NYPD in 2008 in the department's counterterrorism bureau. Odd place for a rookie cop to start out I would think.

So the new commisioner was only a cop for 11 years prior to becoming commissioner and made deputy commissioner of IT after 6 years with NYPD? Who makes commissioner of 3 city dept.'s in a career of only 16 years?

Turns out her father is the CEO of a NYC corporate conglomerate worth billions, and she is a Harvard Graduate.

Fair assumption would be the NYPD over-the-top helicopter fly in of Mangione flanked by officers in helmets and assault rifles with the mayor behind him; and the subsequent photos are due to, or partly due to, or at the very least influenced by the fact that the commissioner is also from the same social elite class as the slain Brian Thompson.

One of the "elite" sending a message for all the other "elites" of what happens when one of the peasant class slays one of the nobility.
