Lost without friends

I know their has been previous posts about it but it's just strange at 30 your best friend and general friendship groups go out the window. I.myself don't make much effort for fear of being let down not to mention the thought of it really doesnt interest me. My main group either has different friends or are closer with their families being older now. I've had some major life changes and needed friend support in which you realise at 30 there's none. The care factor of eachothr does diminish and we all frankly don't care about your new house, new job, promotions, illnesses etc etc the hang outs are forced lunches or dinners to.reminice about older times. Is it time to.let go and focus on other things like starting our family with my wife? My mums health? My immediate family? I'm confused really as it sort of does play on my mind randomly. I don't know what to.achieve with this post just ranting I guess and what do.others do in a similar situation?
