Loss , but important lesson s

Today I had the very difficult decision to put my dog of 13 years old down. Her name is Missy and she was my precious girl and princess all in one . She was a golden retriever and had the most wonderful and endearing nature . She gave me a lot of love , company , comfort and unconditional love . She lived a good life . Unfortunately aging body , tumours spreading all over her body , failing kidneys, infection to several organs and loss of ability to move with her two back legs . Things got bad and quickly. A week ago she was enjoying a wash down all jolly and a week later unable to move and in distress. I could not let her suffer anymore.

An important lesson I like to share is we don’t know how long loved ones are around. This being our pet animals or people . Time is something you cannot get back and time is limited. Invest and maximise the time you have with loved ones , they bring you joy, happiness, support, love and many more gifts . Thank you Missy , I will always cherish our time together . You always live on in my heart .
