Kite, hit, steel, plane, must

On the morning of September 11, 2001, as President George W. Bush sat in a classroom at Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida, a group of children was reciting a set of words from a reading exercise. The words they repeated were:

"Kite, hit, steel, plane, must."

The Strange "Coincidence":

These words, spoken just moments before Bush was informed of the attacks:

"Kite" – Associate with aircraft or flight.

"Hit" – A word directly related to the impact of the attacks.

"Steel" – The Twin Towers had steel frames.

"Plane" – Obvious reference to the method of attack.

"Must" – Suggesting inevitability.
