It shouldn't need to be said on this sub, but apparently it does, so I'll join the others who are saying it: you can't trust any politician, political party or billionaire oligarch.

It doesn't matter if they appear to talk your lingo for a minute. It doesn't matter if they dislike the people you dislike.

Sometimes your enemy's enemy is also your enemy. There is certainly no reason for imagining that you're the best of friends. Maybe you can form a strategic alliance with a relative "outsider" to dethrone a king but keep your fucking wits about you if ever you decide to do that and watch out for the moment when the new guy decides to rest his battle-weary butt on the old king's throne.
