Is the Democratic Party Dead?

Okay at some point the party hive mind gets crazy. The most baffling thing I've seen is democrats/leftists going against their own principles to justify their displeasure of the current presidency. It's okay to say, you know what, I agree with that. But bending over backwards to make positives into negatives is insane. So many leftists have been discussing poison in our food, no they are against Red40 being banned?? Is this the same party? I just read a post about the negatives of raising your own chickens and how you should just continue to depend on store bought. What??? Or how it was just uncovered how the government has been corruptly money laundering, something I've always seen discussed across both parties. And now they are defending USAID?

I lean left socially, and conservatively fiscally. So I'm constantly being tugged in all directions. I see the hypocrisy on all sides but this is next level.

Where is the Democratic Party leader? There's no leader, just a bunch of internet clowns following each other's dumb takes. The party has been failing since Obama's term ended. They are ruled by incompetent, selfish leaders like Pelosi and wonder why people aren't on their side.
