Is it worth it to move away from family and friends to advance my career?

I’m in my late 20s and have been thinking about moving states. In my current area, career advancement is more difficult because of the field I’m in. Just loooking at open roles in neighboring states I see they are much better.

I live with me gf but visit my family EVERY Saturday. All my friends are here and we hang out sorta frequently.

Would it be worth it to move away from all of that just to advance my career? Not to mention the housing prices seem to be much better than my current location.
