Invictus Games

For anyone not watching this, man are you missing out. (I realize 4 Nations is also on for hockey fans, which I very much am as well) but make some time for this if you can.

I caught the Gold Medal Murder Ball (Wheelchair Rugby) game this morning and it is SO wildly impressive. I had the opportunity to try it many years ago, as part of an adaptive sports awareness campaign (I am able bodied but at the time worked in media and helped put together their promotional efforts). However hard you think it is, it's SO much harder.

These athletes are nuts, and it's tough not to watch without getting choked up (and feeling like an under achiever lol)

One of UK's Wheelchair Rugby players also competed in the Skeleton (🤯🤯🤯) and next up has Wheelchair Volleyball. He's also sporting a mohawk with a Canadian flag on one half to support us, so props to him for that.

So proud we're hosting this in BC. I wish I'd been able to book some time off to go watch in person.
