If you look older than you are….should you just accept it? Or is getting work done acceptable…like surgery, Botox etc.

I’m kinda in between on this. Should I accept it, that I’m in my 40s, but look a decade older? I drank too much, smoked on and off, but never did drugs. I also didn’t wear sunscreen or sunglasses as a teen and young 20s…I always ate healthy with the exception of last 3 years or so, where I went through a rough patch and gained 30 lbs. I have lost 18 of those so far and continue to be back in fitness, eating healthy etc..,

But between my skin and my hair, I look older than I am. I have male pattern baldness and my hair went as I aged to the point of having to shave it. My skin is bad, I have some deep wrinkles under my eyes, more than just fine lines and also have crows feet. I have a hard time looking at myself in the mirror without cringing.

I’ve considered getting blepharoplasty or a laser treatment to trying to make an improvement. Is this weird to consider as a male? Ive completely changed my habits, so maybe it’s ok now?
