I would like to see a shift in society where elders are valued more and asked questions for wisdom

I feel like here in the US people under 30 don't give a single fuck about elders. That could be a variety of factors such as societal technology keeping us in our own demographical echo chambers, a general shift in selfish society, or the feeling that young people are angry at the previous generations because of the impossible living standards atm. All that being said, the elders have so much wisdom to learn from. They can absolutely help us if we just calm down and listen.
