I Need To Rant

I F*CKING HATE ELDERLY PEOPLE!!!!!! Disclaimer: for any elderly people here who are up to date with things and aren't any of the things I mention, this doesn't apply to you. If this does, well Im not really sorry, but this has to be said.

I work in the food service industry and in my 10 years of working in this industry, elderly people are argubly the WORST clientele!! They are impatient, bitter, stubborn, expect things to be done at the snap of a finger, slow, and borderline confused half the time. They have to ask a million and a half questions, complain about the littlest things, the temperature in the dining room is too hot, they don't want to sit at this table, watching them stuggle with a credit card reader is the single most frustrating thing I have to deal with at work!! It is not that hard!!! On top of all that, they don't tip for shit!! Im a server and I don't make shit! This is why I HATE elderly customers!!

Now I get this is maybe me being frustrated and bitter, but goddamn it am I wrong? This isn't to say ALL elderly people are like this. Some are actually up to date with everything and actually understand what's going on and are a joy to interact with. Those are the cool elderly people, but the vast majority of elderly people are just f*cking insufferable!

I get it, Im young and I will be old some day, but I hope to god I am not as insufferable as most of the elderly people are today.
