I'm genuinely happy with my place in r/Life. it's not perfect. I'm not wealthy. it's not "easy". I still have to work at it. I choose to be content.

I am married to a good wife. we have a nice, custom designed, new build house, on acreage in the countryside, with pets, gardens and livestock.

we worked very hard to get here. single income. I make less than $60k/yr as a trade worker. wife takes care of the farm, livestock, gardens & home while I earn.

aside from our mortgage, we are debt-free. we don't travel, we are childfree & we live simple.

together 15 years. married 13.
