I know why reddit propagandist doubled down after Trump won his second term. I also know why they are tripling down now with the largest propaganda push in web forum history. Its quite logical actually.

Why did reddit propagandist double down after Kamala lost?

Easy. Because if they would have stopped then it would have been too obvious that the site was bought for the 2024 election interference. Reddit swung an election in 2020 so they had complete confidence they could do it twice. But as the delusion faded and they realized they failed, they suddenly saw the position they were in:

  1. Turn off the proganda push and have everyone on reddit notice how the site "changed back" overnight. In this case, since Trump won, reddit would be very exposed and more scared of prosecution for their (treasonous) actions.

  2. Double down and keep pretending Reddit is "naturally" like this. Giving reddit (as a company) more plausible deniability and extending the time to figure out a new angle.

Well that brings us to now.

Why has reddit suddenly decided to TRIPLE DOWN when their double down was doing the job?

Easy, because Reddit is a USAID-funded psyop. Basically the worst case scenario has happened for them. Their funded takeover of the site was a failure, but (before USAID was exposed) they could just keep going with the double down. Why not, they are still getting paid.

But with Reddit's election-interference psyop losing, Trump winning, and then USAID getting exposed, suddenly reddit has been backed into a corner. The last thing they should do is just stop because that would leave their (pre-Election) fuckery exposed but now their funding is ending soon too!

So how do you create the illusion that reddit is "naturally like this" once the money runs out? Well, you do a final ultimate final push of your propaganda to create as many useful idiots as possible. "Useful idiot" is not an childish insult, it is an actual term in propaganda that means "the regular people brainwashed by agents to keep repeating the talking points."

Thats why reddit has gone full nuclear with the propaganda. Its really the smartest gamble for them at this point. In theory, the USAID money runs out (all the paid losers, bought mods, and rigged subs disappear overnight) but enough of the userbase has been converted into useful idiots that they continue to carry the illusion, thus giving reddit extra time to plan their next move and/or getaway.

Its pretty fascinating to watch it all honestly. All of this is unprecedented.
