I know it’s a dumb question, but for those who have dated a celebrity before, does it ever get easier?

TL;DR: does it ever get easy dating a celebrity while being a non celebrity?

For obvious reasons, I’m asking this from a burner account. And I know the question sounds dumb, but I would genuinely like to hear from someone who’s experienced this.

Because I somehow got myself into this situation back in December when she walked into the café I worked at with some of her friends after what I’m assuming was a premiere of hers. And I’m not sure if it’s because it’s my first relationship, but it sometimes feels like too much. Like all the hiding and secrecy of our relationship.

We’ve been together for about 4 months now, and don’t get me wrong, I’m a lot happier and a lot healthier than I was since I met her. I’ve gone out a lot more than I used to. I'm a bit less anxious than I used to be, and hell, I’ve even got to travel to different places and gone to two awards shows with her…something I never thought I’d be able to do. Since I was basically a shut-in before her and only went out to work or to get necessities.

And as fun as all these things have been, I just kind of wish we could do regular couple stuff, you know? I’d love to just go out with her without worrying about someone spotting her. I’d love to go out without her having to be incognito or having to wait till it’s late at night to do something because it’s less likely someone will see her. Not only that, but I'd also like to stop being kept as a secret even if it is for my safety or stop having to pretend to be a “friend of her friend” during the rare times her fans catch us together. I’m so hopelessly in love with this girl, that I just want to show the world how downbad I am for her lol.

I just kind of wish things would be normal even if it’s just for a day.

This ended up turning into a mini venting session so sorry about that. But I’d appreciate any advice or stories if you guys might have of a similar experience.
